Wanda Romero

Wanda Romero, age 66, of Manahawkin passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Mystic Meadows Rehab and Nursing,Little Egg Harbor twp. Born in Manhattan, she lived in New York until moving to Guanico, Puerto Rico and settled in New Jersey in 1984. Wanda worked many trades throughout her life but enjoyed substitute teaching most of all. She loved being involved/volunteering in her community with the Main Street Alliance Church, Manahawkin and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Manahawkin. She is survived by her daughter, Lilania Graczyk and Awilda Rivera; her grandchildren, Stephanie Sloan, Kimberlie Vazquez, Evan Graczyk, Chase Graczyk, China Rivera, Malia Rivera, and Fernando Rivera; a great-granddaughter on the way; and two brothers, John and Frank Romero. Cremation was private under the care of Lacey Memorial Home, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. A memorial service will be held at Main Street Alliance Church, 1000 N. Main Street, Manahawkin, on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 6pm.
