Virginia Sheppard

Virginia (Ginny) A. Sheppard, 80, of Lanoka Harbor, passed away on February 25, 2024. Born in New Brunswick, Ginny grew up in the Princeton and Griggstown area and lived in Lakehurst for most of her life. She moved to Lanoka Harbor in 2022.

Ginny loved her family and cared deeply for her friends. She was very passionate and an advocate for animals. Ginny who had a gift for serving others had a career in the medical field. She was an outstanding LPN and Private duty Nurse for many years and retired in 2014.

She is survived by her sons Scott Anderson and his fiance Michelle Conard of Whiting, Todd Anderson and his wife Suzanne of Landisville, Kevin Anderson and his wife Carrie of Springfield IL; her daughter Cathy Lynn Anderson Perez and her husband Gabriel of San Marcos, CA; her grandchildren Jameson and Jessyka; and her great-grandchildren London, Paris, Jaxon, Janessa, Luna, and Maverick. The family has requested that remembrances to be made in the form of contributions with volunteering services or a small donation to a local animal shelter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Forked River Funeral & Cremation Service LLC, 1022 Lacey Rd, Forked River NJ 08731
