Viola Magda

Viola E. Magda, age 85, of Lanoka Harbor, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Monday, October 22, 2018.Born in the Bronx, she lived in Cliffside Park, and raised her family in Bayonne. She moved to Barnegat in 1994 and retired to Lanoka Harbor in 1999.Viola worked as a telephone operator for ATT in Jersey City for 25 years before retiring. She loved art, reading, doing crossword puzzles and crafts; and baking for her family during the holidays. Viola was a loving wife, mother, and nana. She will be dearly missed by all who adored her. Predeceased by her husband Robert, and her sisters Trudy and Betty; Viola is survived by her 6 children and their spouses; Beth and Brian Robinson, Robert P. Magda, Nancy Ann Rosuck, Edward and Cathy Magda, William Magda, and Kirk and April Magda. She also leaves to cherish her memory; 2 sisters, Cathy and Josie; and her 9 grandchildren; Christopher Magda, Kevin Rosuck, Deanna Magda, Eddie Magda, Jake Rosuck, Kirsten Magda, Kellie Magda, Devon Magda, and Mark Magda. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a viewing from 11:00am until the time of service at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River, NJ 08731. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Manahawkin.
