Sunrise: January 8, 1951 Sunset: September 14, 2018 Steven Edward Van Santen Steven was born in Jersey City, NJ. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Paterson, NJ. Steven graduated Bergen Community College with an associates degree in Master Plumbing. Steven was a Corporal General in the Army duringthe Vietnam War. He worked in ManhattanforLocal 638 Steamfitter Union for 20 years, wherehe worked to rebuild the world trade center. Steven Van Santen retired to rebuild his family a new beautiful home in Forked River, NJ where he lived for 26 years. Steven enjoyed fishing, taking care of his lawn, long drives in the car with his wife, rebuilding his triumph, spending time with his kids grandkids and watching television with his dogs. He could fix and build anything anyone ever needed. He was a loving, giving husband and best friend to Gerri his wife of 35 years. Loving, caring, generous dad to Michelle, Steven Bow Jr., Jason, TJ, Ashley and Lady. Strong, kind, loving and supporting grandpa to Carlos, Jessica, Alyssa, Kaitlyn, Brady, Delaney, Peyton, Kylie, Dylan, Gianna, Angelina, and Anthony. Fun loving great grandpa to Nicole, Jeffrey, Haley, and Estella. Supportive andcaringfather-in-law to Michelle, Kay, and Jenn.Steven was akind andcaring friend to everyone He is among the angels with his Father, Big Ted, his Mother, Antoinette and hisson, TJ.
