Salvatore A. Puzzo

Salvatore Puzzo, 75, of Forked River passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 4, 2021. Born in Passaic, NJ on September 6, 1946, he attended Passaic High School where he was a standout baseball player. After High School, Salvatore got an offer to play for the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. His dream of professional baseball was cut short when he was drafted into the US Army during the Vietnam War. Salvatore later met the love of his life, Linda, and was married in 1977. Together, they had two sons, Anthony (39) and Nicholas (35). Salvatore passed on his love of baseball to his boys. He loved watching both his sons play high school, college, and summer league baseball. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his friends, playing cards, and taking trips to Atlantic City. He is joining his late wife Linda in God's Kingdom in heaven. Salvatore is survived by his son Anthony and his wife Maria, and their five children, Isabella, Christopher, Anthony Jr., Angelo and Angeline; his son Nicholas and his wife Christine, and their two children Lynda and Vienna; his sister Roxanne and brothers Anthony and Rocco; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 4-8pm at Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. Funeral Service will be offered during the visitation hours. Salvatore will receive Military Honors and will be laid to rest with his beloved wife Linda on Tuesday, December 14 at 11:30am at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.
