Michael J. Gormley, of Lanoka Harbor, died tragically in an automobile accident on Thursday, July 14, 2016 in Toms River. He was 60 years old. Born in Teaneck, Mike lived in Paramus and Ocean City before moving to Lanoka Harbor. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Montvale and received his BA from William Paterson University. He was the Executive Vice President and CFO/COO of Harmony Bank in Jackson. Mike was an active member of the Forked River Presbyterian Church and a past president of both the Red Bank and Jackson Rotary Clubs. An avid sports fan, Michael loved the Jets, the Mets and playing golf. Mike is survived by his loving wife, Lorelle, his son Kyle and fianc, Jessie Bonelli; his daughter Layne; a sister Gayle and brother-in-law Tom Gardner; and his brothers Edward and William Gormley. Well-loved by his in-laws and many nieces and nephews, he will be missed by all. He also leaves behind his cherished dog, Star.
