Linda Doyle

Linda Doyle, age 70, of Forked River passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up in Freeport, Long Island, and lived in Blairstown NJ and Patchogue NY before settling in Forked River NJ in 2003. Linda was a nature and animal lover, and enjoyed playing the slots in Atlantic City. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was a doting and loving dog mom to her beloved Cockapoo Bandit. Predeceased by her parents Kenneth E. and Mollie Doyle, and her sister Deborah Casquarelli, she is survived by her daughter, Laura Fursa and husband William of Patchogue, NY; her son, Joseph Ponzio of Cape Coral, FL; her sister, Helen Henderson and husband Jeff of Lanoka Harbor; her brother, Kenneth Doyle and wife Cathy of Whiting; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Elizabeth, Sophia, Emily, Krista, Joseph Jr., and Dominick. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. In keeping with Linda's wishes, a private service for immediate family was held at Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. A remembrance service and final disposition will take place on Sunday, April 26th at Saint Charles Resurrection Cemetery in East Farmingdale, NY.
