Leo Ayers Jr.

Leo Ayers, age 51, of Waretown passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin. Born in Paterson, he lived in Keasbey before settling in Waretown 25 years ago. Mr. Ayers was an EMT for Northeast Metro Ambulance in Barnegat prior to becoming disabled. He was predeceased by his father, Leo Ayers Sr., and by his brother, Leo Edward Ayers. He is survived by his wife, Tina; his children, Rory, Devin, Tanner and Amaya; his grandchildren, Autumn, Ava and Isabelle; his mother, Ethel Ayers; and his siblings, Mike Ayers, Theresa Reid, Patricia Ayers, and Harriet Chillemi. Visitation will be Wednesday from 7-9pm at Forked River Funeral and Cremation, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River.
