Haven Mark Baker (Mark), 67, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2022. Mark was born in Jersey City, New Jersey to Marie Ann (Finn) and Haven Vincent Baker. Mark was raised in Willingboro (previously Levittown) New Jersey and has lived in Barnegat for the last 20 years. Mark is pre-deceased by his parents and is survived by his longtime partner Teresa Riccardello, her children Brooke and Drew, his daughters Nichole (Russell Gaw), Danielle (Jay Curbow), grandchildren Brandon, Emily, Caden and Alyssa, his siblings Kathleen (Don DeZottis), Adrienne (Steven Kemp), Kevin, Kenneth (Gerard Cerini), Forrest and Regina, stepchildren, Alan and Sean Mashaw, and many nieces and nephews. Mark loved life. He was a master carpenter who built homes, fine cabinetry and furniture. He built his backyard workshop, redesigned and added cabinets and a pantry to the kitchen/dining room area in his house. When our mother became ill and was not able to walk on her own, Mark put a wheelchair ramp in the garage and redesigned the bathroom so that it was accessible for our mother. Mark loved all things mechanical. He worked on the engines in cars and boats. He loved wildlife and nature, the ocean, fishing and bird watching. He had an extensive knowledge of these subjects. Mark also loved the works of Louis L'Amour (his books and stories about the west). Mark was a music lover, especially Rock and Roll, R & B and Country. In Mark's memory, any contribution to any of the following charities listed: American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Humane Society, World Wildlife Fund, Natural Resources Defense Fund, Ocean Conservancy, would be deeply appreciated. A memorial service with family and friends will be scheduled at a future date. In keeping with his wishes, Mark's ashes will be returned to the sea. Events Details are pending.
