Evelyn Piasecki

Evelyn, Piasecki, age 89, of Forked River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 29, 2016. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Jackson and Lakewood prior to moving to Forked River. Evelyn worked for Great Easton Grocery in Jersey City as a meat packer for many years. After she retired, she volunteered for Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital, where she helped organize fundraisers and Chinese Auctions. Predeceased by her husband Michael and her Daughter Michelle, Evelyn is survived by her son Michael; her granddaughter, Christine Mason and great-grandson Ryan Phillips. Viewing will be from 2-4 & 6-8 on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River. A funeral service will be held at 7:30pm Monday at the funeral home.
