Doris Meyers

Doris Meyers, age 97, of Waretown, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018. Born in Gilead, Michigan, she lived in Hamilton for many years prior to moving to Waretown. Doris worked asa Billing Administrator for Hamilton Hospital, retiring in 1988.She was a Woman's Army Corp Veteran, serving during WWII.Doris was a loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Predeceased by her husband Richard and son Mark, Doris is survived by her son Lance and daughter-in-law Maya; and her granddaughters, Christina Wulffen and Alla Taturevych. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Lacey Memorial Home, 1022 Lacey Road Forked River, NJ 08731. A funeral Service will be held at 7:30pm on Tuesday in the funeral home. Burial will follow on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 in the Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
