Catherine Celentano

CATHERINE KITTY CELENTANO, age 89, of Waretown, NJ, formerly of Suffern, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, October 15, 2016. Born in New York City, she lived most of her life in Suffern before moving to Waretown earlier this year. Kitty was a loving mother and cherished grandmother. She was a graceful dancer, and a wonderful cook, but what she loved most was spending time with her family. Predeceased by her husband Dominick, and her brothers Frank and Thomas Ramundo; Kitty is survived by her 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Emilia and John Kaminski; and Marie and Skip Pillar. Also surviving are her 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may attend a viewing on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 6-9pm at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River, NJ 08731. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 11:00 at the Church of St. Pius the Tenth 300 Lacey Road Forked River. Burial will follow in the Brig. Gen. WC Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be to the Alzheimers Association in memory of Kitty at Alz.org.
