Beverly Ann Gold

Beverly Ann Gold, 77, of Lakehurst passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Miami, Florida, she lived throughout the country as a Navy wife before settling in Lakehurst in 1982. She enjoyed spending time with her family and attending church services, and was a former softball coach. Predeceased by her husband Leon in 2008, and by her brother John Wesley Godwin, Jr., she is survived by her children, Leon Gold III of Lakehurst, John of Manila, Philippines, Claudia Dolores Guertin of Worcester, MA, Margaret Jeanette Kippenham and her husband Jim of Norfolk, VA, and Robert Wesley Gold Sr. and his wife Mary of Lakehurst; 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her sister, Claudia Ellen Daly of Bayville; and her brother, Stephen Douglas Godwin of MD. Visitation will be Thursday from 10-12:30 at Forked River Funeral and Cremation Service, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River, with a funeral service officiated by Pastor Michael Weigel at 12 noon. Interment will follow at Brig. Gen William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be appreciated.
