Barbara Anne Evans

Barbara A. Evans, 62, of Forked River passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at home. Born in Belleville, she grew up in Bloomfield and lived in Iceland, Arizona, Las Vegas, Baltimore and the Poconos before settling in Forked River last year with her sister, Jeannie & Brother-in-Law Michael.

Barbara was a veteran of the United States Air Force. After completing her service, she moved to several different duty stations where her late husband, John, was serving during the remainder of his Air Force career. She was always someone who had a passion for helping others.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband John in 2020. She is survived by her son, Joshua and his fiancée Dhalia, and their daughter Izel; her step-daughter, Terrace Evans; her siblings and their spouses, Dennis Manning (Katherine), Jeannie Furfero (Michael) and Billy Manning, (Patty); her sisters-in-laws, Gwen Evans, Annette Aaron (Hank), and Deborah Evans; her nieces and nephews, Anthony, Christopher, Nicholas, Tyler, Travis, Isabella, Anthony Jr., Bella, Annie, Marina, Tiffany, Erica, Ron, Emil, Vondaleir, Sonni, Donte, Brandi, Darien & Daniece and by her Best Friend Patty (Ethel).

Cremation was private.
