Amelia Haney

Amelia Banco Haney, age 91, of Forked River, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Born in Raritan, she was raised in Somerville, and lived in Edison before retiring to her farm in Cordova, MD. Amelia had worked in a Defense Factory making airplane parts during WWII. She was a loving caregiver, always volunteering to help anyone in her community who needed her. Predeceased by her husband Albert in 2011, she is survived by her 3 daughters, Josephine, Marie and her husband John, and Audrey; 7 grandchildren and their spouses; and 6 great-grandchildren. Viewing will be from 10:00am until 12:00noon on Friday, March 9, 2018 with a service at 11:30am at Lacey Memorial Home 1022 Lacey Road Forked River, NJ. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery 1200 Cedar Lane, Trenton, NJ.
